Cancer Center
Chandler Regional Medical Center's Cancer Center has been a designated comprehensive cancer center since 1998. Our team of oncologists, radiation therapists and registered nurses have the expertise necessary to treat all forms of cancer. Today's cancer care consists of a carefully planned combination of surgery, medical oncology, radiation therapy, nutrition, education and support, all of which is personalized for the individual. We believe that utilizing this multidisciplinary approach ensures each patient receives the most effective combination of care.

Cardiovascular ICU
The CVICU cares for patients who have cardiovascular and medical needs in a warm, supportive environment. Our nurses are specially trained and are part of a multidisciplinary team designed to meet the needs of our patients and their families.

Cardiovascular OR
The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specializes in cardiovascular surgeries, primarily coronary artery bypass (open heart) surgery and heart valve surgery. Patients are then transferred to the CVICU for monitoring and ongoing care.

Endoscopy/Special Procedures
The Endoscopy Department provides both inpatient and outpatient services for those with known or suspected gastrointestinal or pulmonary issues. Among services performed are bronchoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, gastroscopy and more.

Emergency Department
Chandler Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Services is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by board certified physicians and registered nurses with advanced training in both adult and pediatric emergency medicine. Approximately 60,000 patients are treated annually, and we service more than 200 Emergency Medical Services personnel throughout the East Valley.

Intensive Care Unit
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 12-bed, multidisciplinary adult critical care unit. The unit cares for patients with a potentially life-threatening medical/surgical or cardiovascular condition who require continuous monitoring, increased nursing care hours, or a more intensive nurse-to-patient ratio. The ICU is staffed 24/7 by physicians who are specifically trained in critical care.

Labor & Delivery
Our Family Birth Center is designed to allow our patients to experience the birth of their baby in comfortable surroundings. We are committed to promoting a family centered environment that meets and exceeds patient expectations by identifying and fulfilling your educational, physical, psychological and cultural needs.

Medical – Surgical
The Medical/Surgical Department, comprised of 85 private patient rooms, provides services and care for inpatients in the acute stage of suspected or known physiological compromise.

Our services include diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Our nursing care includes the safe and proficient delivery of treatment necessary to provide for the physical and emotional needs of the patient, as well as the promotion and maintenance of their health.

Our nursery is fully staffed for infants requiring extra care or monitoring, as well as an observation area for well newborns when mothers want to have their infants in the nursery for short periods of time. Both are staffed with highly skilled nurses with expertise in caring for newborns.

The Telemetry/Definitive Observation Department at Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 74-bed adult care unit with emphasis on caring for cardiac patients. We care for seriously ill patients who require continuous monitoring, including pre- and post-operative and cardiac patients. These patients require increased nursing care hours, as well as a more intensive nurse-to-patient ratio.

Wound Care
The Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen Center (WHC/HBO) at Chandler Regional Medical Center has earned the designation as an accredited clinical hyperbaric medicine facility. It is the only center of its kind in Arizona to receive this prestigious recognition from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, the international scientific organization for hyperbaric medicine.


Allied Health:

Cath Lab
Part of our Heart & Vascular Center, our Cath Lab is designed for cardiologists to perform a wide array of catheterization procedures, such as angioplasty and various interventions.

Diagnostic Imaging/All Specialties
Chandler Regional Medical Center's Diagnostic Imaging Department has some the finest radiology technology available, including:

  • Multi-slice CT scanners
  • The Picture Archiving Communication System that allows for digital, on-line image procedure reading
  • MRI
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Mammography
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology
  • Vascular ultrasound
  • General and obstetrical ultrasound 

Staffed by licensed Medical Technologists and certified Phlebotomists, the Laboratory Department provides comprehensive laboratory services to our patients 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including holidays. The laboratory maintains ongoing quality control, proficiency testing and performance improvement programs designed to objectively and systematically monitor and evaluate the quality of services. The laboratory maintains accreditation with the College of American Pathologists and the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act.

The Pharmacy Department provides the hospital with comprehensive, progressive pharmaceutical services in order to maximize patient care and to furnish federally approved medications, efficient medication distribution systems, in-depth educational programs and professional clinical services to meet the needs of our patients.

Rehabilitation Services
From minor deficits to conditions affecting an individual's ability to live and function independently, our Rehabilitation Services Department provides a myriad of services to help our patients return to their highest level of function as quickly and safely as possible. Services include occupational, physical and speech therapies.

The Cardiopulmonary Services Department's primary function is to promote and provide the highest standards of quality patient care in cardiology, neurology and respiratory therapy.

The department is composed of registered Respiratory Therapists, certified Respiratory Technicians, registered Echocardiographers and EEG Technologists, all of which are state and /or nationally licensed.
